'Twill
Dm

Dm
us
I'll
Gm
call the
Dm
priests, those
Gm
of the
Dm
law
And
Gm
ask them
Dm
straight a
Gm
way
This
Gm
so-called
Dm
King for
Gm
those in
Dm

We'll
Am

And
Dm

This

I'll
Dm

Why
Dm
wasn't
Am
I fore
Dm

"In
Gm
Bethle
Dm

Dm
cried
In
Gm
great fear
Dm
for his

Dm
tried
His
Am

But

Gm
not the

A

Gm
they who
Dm

Am

These

We
Gm
read the
Dm

Gm
on this
Dm
day
The
Am
truth we now be
Dm

Commentary
Matthew 2, v. 3-6: When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:

"'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.'"
