  • Here's a mini-review of Ferenzik's "Devil's Playground" by TR-i fan Kurt Scheinpflug.
And while I'm on the topic of John Ferenzik, does anyone have his Devil's Playground CD? I bought it at the second [TR-i] show (and got it signed by John and Jesse!! They were excited to have someone buy THEIR product). I was a bit hesitant to listen after John told me that it was a bit of a jazz/fusion album. I listened the following day and was quite pleased with it. Not at all what I expected and unlike anything I've listened to before (so my musical bounds are limited. so what). I give it a very high recommendation for all music lovers. Now I have to get "Wild Man of Borneo". Any reviews on that one?

    Wheel of Nesh

Here's what John has to say about his new release:
As far as the new release ("Wheel of Nesh") goes, it's pretty rock and rolly, british-invasion influenced stuff. There are a few instrumental loops thrown in to spread out the songs, but it's about 90%/10% in favor of the pop tunes. Hopefully, it's not too jarring a transition from my other work. After singing background vocal stuff in Todd's band I figured I should take a chance, and (bottom line) it was a blast to produce the record...
It's available now! While you're waiting for your copy in the mail, enjoy the lyrics and a few sound bytes.
