Once again it's time for our annual Christmas letter, a tradition begun way back in 1993. Any similarities to last year's letter is entirely coincidental!
The biggest news this year is that we moved into a brand new house in Antelope, California! Near the end of last year, we sold our 17-year residence and moved into our new home this past March. Just in case you'd like to drop by, a map is on the other side of this letter. The new house is a 2000 sq. ft. tri-level with four bedrooms, three full baths and a three car garage. It sits on a 1/4 acre lot (big enough for our eventual pool!). A nice move up from 839 sq.ft. Roger still works for the California Department of Water Resources as a computer network specialist. He is also the Scoutmaster of the kids' Boy Scout troop and the Chairman of the Board of Business Administration at church. Cece worked briefly in the spring for a real estate agent, but is currently getting used to life at the new house. She intends to do some volunteer work at Brad's school when it gets back in session after the holidays. She also teaches Sunday School and is the Chairman of the Board of Youth Ministries at church.. Matt is 14 now and about 6'1" tall. His love of music has just eclipsed his love of video games. He's in the concert and marching band at Center High School playing the tenor saxophone. He's also teaching himself to play the piano. He just earned his Star rank in Boy Scouts and is moving along the Eagle trail. Brad is 11 and goes to Oak Hill Elementary School, a new school that just opened in September. He's on a year-round schedule for this, his final year in elementary school. He's also in Scouts and attended his first week of summer camp in July, where he earned two merit badges (including Wilderness Survival!) He recently earned his Second Class rank and is well on the way to First Class. Here's wishing you the best of the Holiday Season and all of 1995! Love, the Linders
