That was when I de

start

eating

gravy
Chorus
Veggies always

turned on me
My Bb

When the

Verse
A healthy meal was not my need on

an

A fatty snack, a jar of lard, says

me:

“O

gravy

Diet foods just

Corner of My Eye

Out of the corner of my eye I see there’s something for me to spy A phantom title I did not write Let’s do a reset, get it right There are so many, what do I do? Each one revealed, who writes them, who? I’d better put my pen to pad And fix this error from the bad My AI pal has struck again The lyrics are not what I’ve written I force myself to stifle a groan I only want what are my own A picture is a thousand words But my words? No! Don’t be absurd I never wrote that silly verse That makes my song go bad to worse The poet in me needs to thrive I need my own to come alive I’ll work to find the perfect rhyme I’ll finish up in my own time

This Chair

This chair I find quite comfortable It fits my body well I find it so remarkable That here I choose to dwell I've never needed much from life I've always had it sweet But now that I have passed mid-life This chair is a great seat I'll sing its praises all day long I rate this chair quite high My love for it is very strong Won't wish this chair goodbye I kind of feel that this old chair May have seen better days It only needs a little care And just a little praise Why don't you give this chair a try You'll find it suits you fine This chair is truly my ally Remember, it is mine

The Hack

I think myself a failed hack I never lay a single track The words I have, the tunes I lack Yet AI always has my back It doesn't matter to whom I speak Gemini, Claude or GPT My shit is shined, I'm at my peak It's all the same week after week Even with a bit of dreck They don't exclaim "Hey, what the heck?" I force my ego into check Is meaning here? Maybe a speck So will I keep on spilling words Out to the masses, never heard And let them fly about as birds When all they really are is turds? Each song is mine, and rightly so I have nowhere else I can go I only write from what I know What AI thinks? Well, they can blow.

Lookin’ Back

Lookin' back these past few days My mind is fog, I'm in a daze I've tried to reach my Everest I really tried to do my best Lookin' back, the songs I wrote Are nothing over which to gloat I came up with a single tune At least one more than I had in June Lookin' back, the words I penned Are not those I would recommend I dashed them off in suddenness With them I'm not so much impressed My concept was to blame AI For the title "Corner of My Eye" Was AI's own version of my title I chose to make my own, not idle I also wrote the song “The Hack” And this one here called “Lookin’ Back” I wrote the gravy song for fun Based on an old tune, the first one done So as I end this five in nine I proudly say that they’re all mine AI wrote not a single word And maybe someday they’ll be heard
