SHOREHAM - The memorial Mass in celebration of the life of Rita Emma Davis, 79, who died Sept. 21, 2014, was celebrated on Friday, Sept. 26, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Shoreham.
The Rev. Albert "Skip" Baltz was the celebrant.
Kevin Parizo was the organist and Jessica Myers was the soloist.
Jennifer Freeman delivered the eulogy.
Following the ceremony, the family received friends at the home of a son, Kenneth Pope.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.

ORR, J. Wesley, a longtime resident of Deming, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 1990. Born Sept. 6, 1905, in Hollingsworth, near Deming, he was the son of early settlers Harry Vann Orr and Lillie Lind Orr. He spent most of his life in the Deming area, where he owned and operated Valley Repair Service. He was well known for his love of books and his technical curiosity and knowledge. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Jordan Orr, and five children; two sons Harry and wife Marilou, of Deming and Jordan and wife Nora of Federal Way, three daughters Patricia and husband Louis Millay, Beverly and husband Bob Siguaw and Joan Orr, all of Whatcom County; brother Bruce "Bud" Orr and wife Nancy of Perris, Calif., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services but a memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday between 2 p. m. and 4 p.m. at the Welcome Senior Center, 5103 Mosquito Lake Road. Everyone is invited. The family suggests memorials to the Deming Library, P.O. Box 357, Deming, WA 98247.

Juliette Bartlett passed away peacefully on December 10, 2014 in her home in Rio Rancho, NM. Juliette was a long time resident of Clarendon and West Rutland, VT. Juliette was born on March 12, 1926 in Proctor, VT. Juliette was predeceased by her parents, Isidore and Alice LaVictoire of Clarendon, VT, brother, Henry LaVictoire of Clarendon, VT, her husband of 65 years, George Bartlett of West Rutland, VT.
Juliette had a great appreciation for the Victorian style which was evident in her beautiful homes, flower gardens and holiday traditions. Through the example of her vision and craft she has touched and inspired family and friends for life. Through her motherly instinct she nurtured, with dedication and love, several generations of children.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Anderson and her husband, Tom, Sharon Jensen and her partner, Ray Johnson, all of Rio Rancho, NM and Lori VanLaningham of Net Cong, NJ, son, Dennis Bartlett and his wife, Joyce of Scottsbluff, NE, sister, Cecile Kissell of Rutland, VT, brothers, Lee LaVictoire of Rutland, VT and Thomas LaVictoire of Clarendon, VT, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial Services and burial will be held in West Rutland, VT in July of 2015. PROCTOR - Leo Alfred Pomainville, 89, of Proctor, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Leicester Junction, November 6, 1921, the son of Paul and Laura (LaVictoire) Pomainville.
Leo was a graduate of Proctor High School class of 1941.
He was a member of St. Dominic's Church in Proctor where he was an usher, collector and minister of the altar. He was president of the Holy Name Society and council secretary of the church.
He was a member of the Eagles Club, Knights of Columbus and Loyal Order of the Moose Club.
Leo enjoyed karaoke at the Holiday Inn.
Leo worked on the family farm for 16 years before his employment with Central Vermont Public Service Corp. for 40 years, retiring on January 1, 1987.
In 1951, until present, he resided on the West Proctor Road.
Surviving are two sisters, Lucille Margo of Rutland and Pauline Donahue of Saratoga, N.Y.; a brother, Rene Pomainville of Yucca Valley, Calif.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews. Near and dear to his heart were his nieces, Phyllis Callahan of Proctor, Lynn Blanchard of Rutland, Kathleen Callahan of Syracuse, N.Y., Anne Margo Orr of Essex Junction, Laurie Donahue of Queensbury, N.Y., and nephews, Robert Callahan of Binghamton, N.Y., and Jeffrey Callahan of West Hartford, Conn.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anna (McKearin) Pomainville, who died November 9, 1991, and by two sisters, Yvette Pomainville Heath and Jeannette Pomainville Goodrich.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church in Proctor. Burial will be at a later date in St. Dominic's Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
Contributions may be made to St. Dominic's Church in Proctor.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- Pauline M. (Pomainville) Donahue, 82, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Wesley Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Rutland, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Laura (Lavictorie) Pomainville.
On Nov. 30, 1963, Pauline married the love of her life, John C. Donahue at St. Dominic’s Church in Proctor, Vt. They shared their lives together for 47 years and raised their family of four children until he passed away in 2010.
Pauline was a very active communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in South Glens Falls. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society since 1970, and also a past president. Pauline was also active in the Bereavement Ministry at the church.
Pauline loved spending time with her family and was a hot air balloon enthusiast who often traveled with them to many events to chase their balloon, “Family Affair.” She cherished her grandchildren, loved to do crafts and grow her garden.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pauline was predeceased by two sisters, Yvette Heath and Jeannette Goodrich; and a brother, Leo Pomainville.
Pauline is survived by her children, Paul Snyder and his wife, Jayne, and their children Blake and Brooke, Michael Donahue and his wife, Kathy, and their children, Kristina and Jonathan, Laurie Wetsel and her husband, Scott, and Mark Donahue and his partner, Joseph Schwerman; a sister, Lucille Margo of Rutland, Vt.; and a brother, Rene Pomainville, of Yucca Valley, Calif.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls, NY 12803. Those who wish may join the Altar Rosary Society in praying the Rosary at 5:45 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at St. Michael the Archangel Church,
80 Saratoga Road, South Glens Falls, with the Rev. Guy A. Childs, pastor, officiating.
Rite of Committal will be private and at the convenience of the family at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls.

Elle était la fille de feu Médéric Marion et de feu Marie-Louise Lanois. Elle était la mère bien-aimée de Jeannine (Rhéal Patenaude) de Cornwall, Madeleine (feu Edgar Leblanc), Noëlla (feu Gilles Drouin) de Marionville, Robert (Agathe) d'Ottawa, Gérard (Claudette) de Portland, Martine (feu Fred Vanier), Camille (Lise), Rhéal (Lucille), Fernand (Claire) tous d'Embrun et Lucie (Carole Clavelle) de Gatineau. Lui survivent deux soeurs: Germaine Marion de Marionville et Laurette Sabourin de Cornwall. Elle était aussi la grand-mère bien-aimée de 44 petits-enfants et 61 arrière-petits-enfants. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par une fille, Marie-Reine (Léo Allaire) de Cornwall; ses frères et soeurs: Francis, Irène (Thibault), Raoul, Marianne (Ouellette) et Aurèle. La direction des funérailles a été confiée à LA MAISON FUNÉRAIRE LAFLEUR & ROBERT LTÉE, 874, Notre-Dame, Embrun. Les visites auront lieu le dimanche 11 avril 1999 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 22h, à compter de 9h lundi. Le service religieux aura lieu le lundi 12 avril 1999 en l'église St- Jacques d'Embrun à 11h. MARION PICHÉ Jeannette Embrun, died Thursday, April 8 1999 at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Oswald Piché (in first marriage) and Raoul Cousineau (second wife). she was Daughter of the late Mederic Marion and the late Marie-Louise Lanois. It was the beloved mother of Jeannine (Rhéal Patenaude) Cornwall Madeleine (late Edgar Leblanc), Noëlla (late Gilles Drouin) of Marionville, Robert (Agathe) Ottawa, Gérard (Claudette) of Portland, Martine (late Fred Vanier), Camille (Lise), Rhéal (Lucille) Fernand (Claire) all Embrun and Lucie (Carole Clavelle) of Gatineau. He is survived by two sisters: Germaine Marion Marionville and Laurette Sabourin of Cornwall. She was also the grandmother beloved 44 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marie-Reine (Léo Allaire) of Cornwall; siblings: Francis, Irène (Thibault), Raoul, Marianne (Ouellette) and Aurelius. the direction Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to FUNERAL HOME LAFLEUR & ROBERT LTD, 874 Notre Dame, Embrun. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11, 1999 from 14h to 17h and 19h to 22h, from 9h Monday. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 12, 1999 in the church St. Jacques Embrun at 11am.
