This group is dedicated to research notes about the Bennett Family Tree. My wife, Cecelia Ann Bennett Linder, had no record of her father's family, other than his name, birthdate and death date. Her parents divorced in the late 1950s, and he died a few years later, so she grew up without any real knowledge of her father's family. Were there aunts and uncles, cousins? Was it possible her grandparents were still living? These were questions that had been raised over the years.

When I began doing some research in early February, 2012, I had no idea if I'd be successful at all. My main intent was to try to discover and contact any living relatives, especially her half-sisters from her father's first marriage. My ongoing research is documented in the various articles collected within. There's no particular order, and many of them interlink. Some are inconsistent and incomplete, and reflect a style of research that has evolved over the time I've been working on this project.

It's not my intention to document immediate family members, after all, we know who they are, but occasionally you will find some information listed, even for them.
