So, therefore he is the great-great-grandson of John Graham through Rebecca Graham (John Graham's granddaughter and Rebecca Pittman's paternal grandmother) and the great-grandson of John Graham though Sarah Graham (John Graham's daughter and Rebecca Pittman's maternal grandmother). His great-great-grandfather, James Thomas Graham, and his great-grandmother, Sarah Graham McGrew, were brother and sister.
James Pittman married his mother's first cousin, Rachel McGrew, so Rebecca Pittman Bennett is her own second cousin, once removed and Rebecca and her father are therefore also second cousins.

There is a lot of confused gedcoms out there. They have two different sets of children named William and Elizabeth and this is caused by the fact that after Harrison died and Kitty married Clark Wellman her children by her first husband gave the census taker (or someone did) Clark's surname, calling them William and Elizabeth Wellman, instead of their actual name, William and Elizabeth Bennett. Now a lot of people seem to think Kitty had two sets of kids with the same names, and married Clark 5 years before Harrison died, trying to force the kids to fit in somehow. It is really as simple as I've outlined. William and Elizabeth are Harrison's. They used the Wellman surname for a while before re-assuming their Bennett names. You'll notice there are absolutely no further records of William and Elizabeth WELLMAN. No marriage, no death, no adult census records using the Wellman name but there ARE those records with the Bennett name. Kitty remarried in or about 1859, after Harrison died, to John Clark Wellman and their first child was Joseph, born in 1860.
